The BIOBASE BKC-MH12-B Hematocrit Centrifuge is a high-speed benchtop capillary centrifuge designed primarily for hematocrit testing and the separation of small-volume blood and other trace solutions.
The unit accommodates up to 24 capillary tubes and reaches a maximum speed of 12,000 rpm with a maximum relative centrifugal force of 14,170 × g. These capabilities make it suitable for hematology laboratories, hospitals, diagnostic centres, research laboratories and other facilities performing microhematocrit and small-volume blood separation procedures.
The BKC-MH12-B incorporates an embedded microprocessor control system and brushless DC motor, providing stable operation with reduced maintenance requirements. It allows operators to set centrifugal speed, operating time and acceleration/deceleration levels, while centrifugal force can be checked during operation.
Its construction includes a steel body and stainless-steel centrifugal chamber, while a three-level shock absorption system is designed to reduce vibration during centrifugation. The system can store up to 20 operating programs and provides 15 acceleration and deceleration levels.
