Heat Cure Polymer – Dental Denture Base Acrylic Resin Powder

Heat Cure Polymer is a dental laboratory acrylic resin powder used with a compatible heat-cure monomer for the fabrication, processing and repair of acrylic dental prostheses, particularly denture bases. During denture processing, the polymer powder is mixed with the manufacturer's specified liquid monomer at the recommended ratio. After reaching the appropriate working consistency, the material is packed into a prepared dental flask and polymerized using a controlled heat-curing cycle. Heat-cured denture base acrylic systems are commonly based on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) polymer powder used with a compatible methyl methacrylate-based liquid component.
