It is used to remove accumulated protein deposits and protein fibres from the analyzer's tubing and fluid pathway, helping maintain reliable analyzer performance. Genrui's GE300 service documentation states that the deprotein solution removes protein fibres from the tubing without adversely affecting the electrodes. Following deproteinization, the analyzer performs a cleaning procedure, after which ion calibration is performed until electrode slopes are stable. The solution is supplied as a two-component kit consisting of a liquid diluent and protease powder that are used according to the manufacturer's preparation and maintenance instructions.
