FUJIFILM DRI-CHEM NX600 Clinical Chemistry Analyzer

The FUJIFILM DRI-CHEM NX600 is a compact automated dry clinical chemistry analyzer designed for rapid biochemical and electrolyte testing in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, clinics and point-of-care environments. The analyzer uses FUJI DRI-CHEM slides, which contain dry chemical reagents required for testing. This dry-chemistry approach simplifies workflow and reduces the need for the liquid-reagent handling associated with many conventional wet chemistry analyzers. The NX600 supports 28 colorimetric tests and 3 electrolyte tests. It achieves throughput of approximately 120 colorimetric tests per hour, increasing to 128 tests per hour when colorimetry and electrolytes are combined. Another important advantage is its low sample requirement. Most colorimetric tests require only 10 µL per test, CRP requires 5 µL, while simultaneous Na-K-Cl electrolyte measurement requires 50 µL for all three tests.
