EPIC Height Plaster of Paris 8" × 2.7m is an orthopedic casting bandage designed for the construction of rigid plaster casts used to support and immobilize fractures, injured limbs and other appropriate body areas. The bandage consists of a suitable fabric substrate impregnated with Plaster of Paris (gypsum). When appropriately immersed in water, the plaster becomes workable and mouldable, allowing trained healthcare professionals to apply and contour the bandage around the required area. It subsequently sets to produce a firm supporting cast. With a width of 8 inches (approximately 20cm) and a roll length of 2.7 metres, this wider POP bandage provides greater surface coverage than narrower sizes. It is particularly useful for appropriate larger-area casting procedures where broader coverage is required. Suitable for hospitals, orthopedic clinics, emergency departments, trauma centres and other healthcare facilities performing plaster casting and immobilization procedures.
