EPIC Height Plaster of Paris 6" × 2.7m is an orthopedic casting bandage designed for the construction of rigid casts used to support and immobilize injured limbs and other appropriate body areas during orthopedic treatment. The bandage consists of a suitable fabric substrate impregnated with Plaster of Paris (gypsum). When immersed in water, the plaster becomes workable, allowing trained healthcare professionals to mould and contour the bandage around the required area. It subsequently hardens to form a supportive cast. The generous 6-inch (approximately 15cm) width provides broad coverage, making it suitable for appropriate larger-area orthopedic casting applications. The 2.7-metre roll length provides sufficient material for layering during cast construction. Commercial orthopedic POP bandages are commonly available in 6-inch widths and 2.7m lengths.
