Electrophoresis Machine BEP-300I + Tank

The BIOBASE BEP-300I Electrophoresis Machine with Tank is a laboratory electrophoresis system designed to provide controlled electrical power for the separation and analysis of biological molecules during electrophoresis procedures. The BEP-300I is the electrophoresis power supply component of the system. It provides adjustable voltage, current and power, with a large LCD that simultaneously displays voltage, current, power and operating time. BIOBASE specifies closed-loop control of voltage, current and power, allowing parameters to be adjusted during operation. The unit provides four parallel outputs, allowing multiple compatible electrophoresis tanks to be operated from one power supply when appropriate. It also incorporates memory storage, power-recovery functionality, timing control and protection/warning functions. When supplied with a compatible BIOBASE electrophoresis tank, the system can be used for applications such as gel electrophoresis, nucleic-acid separation and protein electrophoresis, depending on the specific tank, gel and laboratory protocol. BIOBASE confirms that its horizontal BK-HET01 and BK-HET02 tanks and vertical BK-VET01 tank are compatible with/recommend the BEP-300I power supply.
