The Disonmed BN-100 Top Grade Infant Radiant Warmer is an advanced neonatal warming and care system designed to provide controlled radiant heat while allowing healthcare professionals convenient access to newborns during observation, treatment and clinical procedures. The system uses microprocessor-based servo temperature control and provides pre-warm, manual and automatic operating modes for neonatal thermal management. The Top Grade configuration adds advanced monitoring capabilities compared with the Standard version, including an integrated LCD display for monitoring important parameters. The BN-100 Top Grade incorporates skin-temperature monitoring, an APGAR timer and comprehensive audible and visual alarms to alert healthcare professionals to abnormal operating conditions. Its overhead radiant heater provides uniform warming while the open-bed configuration gives clinicians convenient access to the newborn. The heater head can be rotated horizontally when required. The infant platform incorporates an X-ray cassette tray, allowing appropriate radiographic examinations to be performed without unnecessarily transferring the newborn to another bed. The transparent side panels provide clear visibility of the infant while helping define and protect the patient area. The mobile base, storage facilities and IV-pole arrangement make the system suitable for routine neonatal workflow.
