Digital Colony Counter – Microbiology Colony Counting Machine

The Digital Colony Counter is a benchtop laboratory instrument designed to make the manual counting of bacterial, yeast, mould and other visible microbial colonies grown on appropriate culture plates faster and easier. Digital colony counters combine an illuminated counting platform, magnifying lens, digital display and counting probe or pressure-sensitive surface. As the operator identifies and marks colonies, the instrument records the count electronically, reducing the need to maintain a separate manual tally. Some models also provide an audible signal with each registered count.
