Dengoseal by Dengen Dental is a professional resin-based root canal sealer designed for filling and sealing prepared root canals in association with an appropriate obturation material such as gutta-percha. The material is radiopaque, allowing the filled canal to be assessed radiographically, and non-resorbable, making it suitable for permanent root canal obturation. Dengen describes its formulation as well tolerated by tissues and as providing anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and germicidal action. Dengoseal uses a powder-and-liquid system. The powder contains hexamine, bismuth oxide and excipients, while the liquid component is an epoxy resin liquid. According to Dengen's technical sheet, the material is mixed to form a thick consistency that can be introduced into the prepared canal in association with a gutta-percha point.
