Dengocem 2 LC by Dengen Dental is a professional light-cured glass ionomer restorative cement designed for restorative and lining applications. Unlike conventional self-cure GIC, its light-curing mechanism gives the dentist control over setting and allows immediate finishing after polymerization. Dengen indicates Dengocem 2 LC for Class III and Class V restorations, restoration of primary teeth, core build-up, cervical erosions/root-surface caries, cases requiring radiopacity, geriatric applications, and use as a base or liner. Its technical sheet additionally specifies small Class I, II and V cavities. The powder component is based on fluoro-alumina-silicate glass, while the liquid contains Bis-GMA, UDMA, initiator and stabilizers.
