Dengocem 1 by Dengen Dental is a self-curing glass ionomer luting cement developed for permanent cementation of appropriate dental restorations. The material is supplied as a powder-and-liquid system and does not require a dental curing light for polymerization. The powder is based on fluoro-alumino-silicate glass, while the liquid contains polyacrylic acid. When mixed, the components produce a luting cement that adheres to tooth structure and is suitable for cementation of restorations including crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays. Dengocem 1 also features low solubility, very low film thickness, translucency and fluoride release, properties useful for achieving appropriate seating and long-term cementation of dental restorations.
