Blue Tips

Blue Tips, commonly known as 1000 µL pipette tips, are disposable laboratory consumables used with compatible micropipettes for accurate aspiration, transfer and dispensing of liquid samples and reagents. A common blue-tip configuration has a working range of approximately 100–1000 µL (1 mL). They are widely used for routine liquid handling in clinical, diagnostic, research, pharmaceutical, microbiology and molecular biology laboratories. Blue pipette tips are typically manufactured from laboratory-grade polypropylene (PP) and may be supplied in bulk bags or racks. Sterile, non-sterile and filtered versions are available depending on the manufacturer.
