BIOBASE's horizontal electrophoresis tanks feature transparent polycarbonate construction for easy observation of the electrophoresis process. Depending on the model, the systems accommodate different gel tray sizes, comb configurations and sample capacities. BIOBASE also incorporates safety features designed to prevent incorrect electrode connection and, on applicable models, cut power when the cover is opened.
