BIOBASE FIM Series Flake Ice Maker – Laboratory Ice Machine

The BIOBASE Flake Ice Maker is an automatic ice-making system designed to produce small particles of irregular snow/flaked ice for rapid and efficient cooling. Flake ice has a large surface contact area and can conform around samples or containers, making it useful where consistent cooling and temperature maintenance are required. The machine is suitable for laboratories, hospitals, medical and chemical applications, research institutions and educational facilities, as well as certain food-storage and commercial applications. BIOBASE uses a stainless-steel tank shell, air-cooled condensation and automatic ice production across the FIM series. For laboratory applications, flake ice can be particularly useful for maintaining samples, reagents or containers at low temperatures during experimental procedures where an ice bath or rapid cooling environment is required.
