The BIOBASE BK-ESR20 Automatic ESR Analyzer is a laboratory instrument designed to automate erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) testing. It uses infrared detection to monitor red blood cell sedimentation and reports results correlated with the standard Westergren method. The BK-ESR20 provides 20 analysis channels and a maximum throughput of 40 tests per hour. Samples can be loaded at any time, allowing flexible random-access operation rather than waiting for a complete batch. Testing can be performed using selectable 30-minute or 60-minute modes. It also features a 7-inch colour touchscreen, automatic temperature correction, built-in thermal printer and RS232 communication interface, making it suitable for routine ESR testing in clinical laboratories.
