The BIOBASE Blood Coagulation Analyzer is a laboratory diagnostic instrument designed for the quantitative assessment of blood coagulation parameters in plasma. It uses the optical colorimetry principle to detect changes in optical density as fibrinogen is converted into fibrin during the coagulation process, enabling the instrument to determine the coagulation endpoint.
The analyzer supports the four commonly used coagulation tests: Prothrombin Time (PT), Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT), Thrombin Time (TT) and Fibrinogen (FIB). It is designed for clinical laboratories, hospital blood laboratories and biochemical laboratories.
The BK-CA02 provides two independent detection channels, allowing different tests to be analyzed simultaneously, while the BK-CA04 provides four channels. The system also features multiple incubation positions, low reagent consumption, automatic measurement triggering via the pipette and an integrated thermal printer.
