The Roche AVL 9180 Electrolyte Analyzer is a compact standalone ISE analyzer designed for rapid quantitative measurement of clinically important electrolytes in laboratory and near-patient testing environments.
Depending on the installed electrode configuration, the analyzer can measure sodium (Na⁺), potassium (K⁺), chloride (Cl⁻), ionized calcium (Ca²⁺) and lithium (Li⁺). Appropriate sample types include whole blood, serum, plasma, urine, dialysate solutions and quality-control materials, with supported matrices varying by analyte.
The system requires only 95 µL of sample and produces results in approximately 50 seconds. Throughput reaches approximately 60 samples per hour without printing or 45 samples per hour with printout.
