The Afriject 3ml Sterile Hypodermic Syringe with Needle is a disposable, single-use medical syringe designed for controlled measurement, withdrawal and administration of medications and other appropriate clinical fluids. The syringe features a 2-piece Luer Slip design comprising a medical-grade polypropylene barrel and polyethylene plunger. It is supplied with a 23G × 1¼-inch hypodermic needle consisting of the needle cannula, hub and protective cover. Its 3ml capacity and 0.1ml scale graduation allow convenient measurement of relatively small fluid volumes. Afrimedical uses Electron Beam sterilization technology for the syringe and specifies a 5-year shelf life when stored under the recommended conditions.
