Accoson Mercury Sphygmomanometer – Desk Model

The Accoson Dekamet Mercury Sphygmomanometer is a traditional manual blood pressure measuring device designed for professional clinical use. It uses a vertical mercury column to display cuff pressure and is intended for auscultatory blood pressure measurement with a stethoscope. The Dekamet is built in a compact desk/tabletop configuration with a lightweight die-cast case. When opened, the mercury column is held vertically for easy reading, while the case provides storage for the cuff, tubing and inflation bulb. Historical Accoson documentation identifies the Dekamet, code 0125, as a UK-made mercury sphygmomanometer with a 0–300 mmHg measurement range, shatter-resistant manometer tube, mercury reservoir isolation valve and latex-free adult cuff and bulb.
