3M™ Tegaderm™ Transparent Film Dressing is a sterile, thin and transparent adhesive film dressing designed to protect wounds, catheter sites and vulnerable skin while allowing continuous visual observation of the covered area. The dressing is waterproof and breathable, permitting oxygen and moisture-vapour exchange while providing a barrier against external liquids, bacteria and viruses when the dressing remains intact. Its transparent design allows healthcare professionals to observe the wound or IV insertion site without routinely removing the dressing. Tegaderm Film uses a hypoallergenic adhesive that is not made with natural rubber latex and is designed to adhere securely while remaining flexible and conformable to the patient's skin.
