The 250 mL Conical Flask, also known as an Erlenmeyer Flask, is a general-purpose laboratory glass vessel designed for holding, mixing, swirling, heating and preparing liquids and solutions during laboratory procedures. Its characteristic conical body, flat base and narrow neck allow liquids to be mixed by swirling with a reduced risk of splashing compared with an open beaker. The narrow neck also makes the flask suitable for use with compatible stoppers where appropriate.
