The 14 × 17" B200 X-Ray Intensifying Screen is a radiographic screen designed for use with a compatible 14 × 17 inch (35 × 43 cm) X-ray film cassette. It converts X-ray photons into visible light, allowing compatible radiographic film to be exposed more efficiently during conventional film-screen X-ray imaging. The 14 × 17 inch format is widely used for large-format general radiography. Intensifying screens of this size are commercially available for medical and laboratory radiographic applications.
