12 × 10" (30 × 25 cm) B200 X-Ray Intensifying Screen

The 12 × 10" B200 X-Ray Intensifying Screen is a radiographic imaging accessory designed for use inside a compatible 12 × 10 inch X-ray film cassette. The screen converts incoming X-ray energy into visible light, which exposes compatible radiographic film. This intensification increases the efficiency of film exposure and allows conventional film-screen radiographic images to be produced with less X-ray exposure than direct film exposure. The screen is positioned in close contact with the radiographic film inside the cassette. Proper screen-to-film contact is important for maintaining image sharpness and consistent image quality. The nominal 12 × 10 inch format is approximately 30.5 × 25.4 cm.
